Now, you might still worry about how you'll make a living and whether pursuing your passion is really going to work but if you find that you lose track of time when you're doing the work, it's a good sign.

Chuck Jones, the animator for Wile E. Coyote, says it well:

“You have to love the smallest part of what you do or you’ll never be any good at anything. If you don’t love it, you’re in the wrong field. A real musician loves every dotted eighth note and I love every animation frame.”

Committing means working through each of the Core Exercises and giving an honest effort. It might mean having to step out of your comfort zone since you'll be taking action and engaging others.

I agree with Jeff Goins in The Art of Work that “the risk of not committing is greater than the cost of making the wrong choice. Because when you fail, you learn. But what happens when you don’t commit, when you choose to not act? Well, nothing.”

There are no wrong choices. It's all just feedback for you to help you make even better career decisions in the future.
