First know where you want to go and who you want to meet then network (six-degrees of separation). Look through your social media accounts to see if you have any common connections with your person of interest. If they are speaking at an event or are involved with a specific cause, attend those events and meetings and approach the individual. Engage them with a thoughtful question or find a common interest to continue the conversation over coffee. Another great way to meet the right people is to do interesting and impactful things.
